We've got a sneaking suspicion that the DS Lite will be old ancient news by the time Easy Piano hit the market, but those who've learned to be content in life (and have somehow managed to resist the urge to snap up a DSi in place of their older handheld), have probably been hunting for this date. Valcon Games has just announced that its piano- ...

I'd probably feel slightly smug, if I didn't feel so sick. Smug that after two weeks of me suggesting that social media might not be an unequivocally Good Thing in terms of privacy and human decency , the news has delivered the perfect example to support my view. Unfortunately it's hard to feel smug - hard to feel anything but sadness and nausea -

Just weeks after Palm's Pre sunk to CAD $149.95 on Bell , the outfit's first-ever webOS phone has now stooped to just CAD $99.95. As I am digging more into SQL Azure, it seems choices for auditing will become a little bit more restricted. I met Philippe Schutz at the TechDays in Geneva early this year, and have been following him on Facebook since then. He does amazing work with logos and icons, and it is only natural that I have thought of him when I decided to get a new logo and icons for the MVVM Light Toolkit. A brand identity is quite important to me even in private projects.

The dawn of the 21st century brought us a problem: we had lots of data, but no real way to bring that data into the real world. We could feasibly lug laptops and phones around, but did they ever do exactly what we needed them to do? Don’t answer that.

Of all the dot-com superstars that appeared in the ’90s, shone brightly and then disappeared from sight, few have been granted a second act. One exception is Priceline, which 11 years after it was founded — and 10 years after its stock price collapsed — is quietly thriving. It’s no superstar now, but it’s an [...]

Looks like I need to dig through my closet for something that resembles a costume - we're off to a Halloween party (yes, it's a week late :) ) later today. I've got the basic edit of the podcast out of the way, so all that's left there is the wait for the remaining audio bits. So don't expect a lot of posting today :)

This begs the question: Why didn't Meg Whitman buy the Joltid IP when it was vastly cheaper in 2005? In 2005 the only market for the Global Index was to iffy music sharing services without a business model.
